The Great Offensive and the Battle of the Commander-in-Chief won on August 30, 1922, with the Commander-in-Chief and leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, which did not compromise its independence for centuries. It heralded the rebirth of our great nation. This victory, which is the result of the superior efforts and national struggle spirit of the heroic Turkish army and our great nation, was won with the unique leadership and vision of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The "Great Victory", which is the most obvious indicator of his inexhaustible determination, also led to the establishment of the young Republic of Turkey. This victory is for us; It has paved the way for us to experience the honor and happiness of having our Republic, the 100th anniversary of which we celebrate, which is the guarantee of our democracy and freedom, and which is based on the will of the people and national sovereignty. This independence movement, initiated by the Great Leader Atatürk with his great foresight, has built a democratic, secular and bright future for our nation, together with the achievements of the Republic.
Gazi Mustafa, the Commander-in-Chief of this victory that paved the way for the Turkish nation to live freely on these lands forever and carried our nation to an age of enlightenment Our most important goal should be to protect Kemal Atatürk's legacy and to raise generations who have adopted national consciousness and free and independent living as their motto. With these feelings and thoughts; I celebrate August 30 Victory Day, and I commemorate our heroic comrades, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the architect of this precious victory, our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our sacred homeland and our glorious flag, with mercy and respect, and our heroic veterans with gratitude and gratitude.
